United Methodist Women

The men's group meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, sharing of fellowship and devotions.  The group's main fund-raiser is the Strawberry Festival held in August each year.  The Valentine Banquet held in February is more a celebration than a fund-raiser because little money, if any, is raised.

Funds received are used for church or church related work/activities and the men's group has been able to give back time and money each year.  Church related activities include donations to National Association of United Methodist Men in Scouting (NAUMS) and bibles given to Boy Scouts at summer camp.

All men are welcome and hope all will come and join us.

The United Methodist Women is a service organization open to all women of the church.  Our purpose is to know God, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participating in the global ministries of the church.  Our prayer chain links every member together in praying for special needs.  We pledge our prayers, our time and our gifts.

We have morning, afternoon, and evening circles:

• Morning circle - 9:00 a.m. on 3rd Wednesday of each month
• Afternoon circle - 1:00 a.m. on 3rd Wednesday of each month
• Evening circle - 7:00 p.m. on 4th Tuesday of each month

Our General Meetings are at various times.

Let's Play Games

This group meets in Fellowship Hall on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m.  A delicious covered dish luncheon begins at noon, followed by devotions and a program.

This group meets at 1:00 p.m. every Thursday except the 2nd Thursday it meets at 1:30 p.m.  It is a good time to forget your worries and have some carefree fun.  Bring your favorite table game or just play cards.

Soul Friends (Puppets)

We invite our church members and community friends to join us for a delicious meal on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We serve good food, fun and good fellowship.  Please join us on our next event.
 

Puppet ministry means ministering through Puppet presentations, to other Christians with scripts and songs appropriate to the audience/congregation.

This organization is open to youth and adults.  They meet on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  They perform for worship, Vacation Bible School, and present programs for community events.
